May 13, 2001 The Maryland Camerata, UMBC Concert Choir, and UMBC Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Wayne Cameron and Aya Ueda performed a night of Romantic Music at 3pm in the UMBC University Center Ballroom including Beethoven: Leonora Overture Nr. 3, Brahms: Five Unaccompanied Songs, op. 104, and Brahms: Song of the Fates, op. 89.
I lost my fire virginity today.
Yeah, after a couple of beers on a chilly night, once Rob Banz came up to
me and sweet talked those hot wicks and chains into my sweaty palms, I
knew it wouldn't be long.
After a few simple tricks, Kathleen Ellis realized that a 100% polyester
fleece was probably not the best thing to be wearing while fire spinning, but everything
else I had on was 100% cotton, so after that I was good to go.
I'm hooked. Goodnight.
