The Ecotrek2 is a great FRS radio from Uniden with an integrated antenna that doubles as a belt-loop hook, 14 channels, 38 CTCSS tones, vibrating alert, 5 call tones, and a headset jack. I've found the alert button (a big button on the front of the unit right below the display) to get pressed far too easily (and goes on for about 5 annoying seconds), and the audio is a bit weak in loud situations. The headset might remedy this, but its an accessory. I like this unit because it takes 3 rechargable AA batteries, which I have on constant rotation from my camera anyway. I bought two at Wal-Mart for under $20 each which have worn well since May 2002.
