December 30, 2000 I've added a few updates to the dark side of my page, mostly stylistic updates. Check out the dobie weblog section for a look. New Jersey is covered in a layer of snow 20 inches deep in some places, and Tracy just told me that they're forecasting for 30 inches. Basically it's a hurricane-type storm system that's pulling more moisture off of the ocean and bringing it over to the state. Meanwhile Maryland didn't get a snowflake all day, and they downgraded all the "100% possibility" storm warnings to "light flurries." As Jacki said this morning, "There's no 'yes' in 'snow'."
From the look of Andy Meyer's webcam, his backyard has at least 15 inches by now.
Happy new year!
