There is a proposal writing workshop on the Enoch Pratt Free Library from 9:30 to 16:30.

THIS AFTERNOON...SNOW...TAPERING OFF TO FLURRIES. TOTAL ACCUMULATION 6 TO 10 INCHES. HIGHS NEAR 30. NORTH WINDS 10 TO 15 MPH. Six to ten inches. Yeah, that's about right.

Some news clips from today: Americans are not welcome here and Microsoft kneecapped Sun Microsystems.

Predictably, Baltimore County Public Schools called this an inclement weather day, and I decided to work from home instead of worrying about every snowflake that would be falling outside my office window. On my breaks we had a fun time having a snowball fight outside in the street, walking to the Super Fresh two blocks over on Harford Road to buy (what else?) bread and milk and then sloshing down the street in my car to Home Depot to pick up a snow shovel.
