0. Back in EST. Many hours to go. Steve driving.

1. Steve still driving through Michigan.

2. Steve still driving through Ohio.

3. Switch with Steve for the drive through Ohio.

4. I ponder the phenomenon of radio consolidation which allows me to listen to a familar sounding station at all points during a journey of 1,00 miles. Ohio and Pennsylvania pass by before my eyes.

5. We stop at a rest stop in Pennsylvania so I can stretch my legs.

6. More driving through Pennsylvania. The turns never stop.

7. Switch with Leah on I-76 so she can finish the drive home.

8. I sleep. Maryland. 37 degrees.

9. I wake up to find us 22 miles from Baltimore, MD.

10. We're home.

11. I'm at Work.

Man demands to know from overzealous airline screeners why his pregnant wife was reduced to tears when she is forced to bare her belly and breasts to other passengers waiting in the screening line. He is then arrested, thrown in prison, and fined $250. This makes me want to puke.

Who can I send this to? Tom Ridge? George W. Bush? Benjamin Cardin? Paul Sarbanes? Barbara Mikulski? The CEO's of all the major airlines? Who's in charge anymore? How is something like this allowed to happen?

I'm never flying on a commercial jetliner again. Period. When they ask why the airline is going into bankruptcy, I hope they read this and realize that the answer is because a woman had to give birth by C-section because her husband arrested her for doing what he ought to do: defend his pregnant wife.
