10:07: Looking at this picture just now, I realized that the City of Baltimore actually has a very distinctive smell. It's not offensive or disgusting, just distinct.

13:36: I could do without the cold gloomy rain over Baltimore today. Its even more distinct when the power in your building goes out and the only light is the sun trying to shine through the gray clouds. Oh well, its all back on now so I can huddle back around my halogen lamp with my paper and pen and write entity-relationship diagrams for the intranet until 6pm.

14:46: Leah Marcus says she heard that a Fedex truck just exploded in Missouri.

19:58: This evening I've discovered that funnest is actually a word. I went to the dictionary to look it up with Alex when she used it on the story about Halloween she wrote for homework and used the word. It turns out that it's a sometimes-used inflected form of "fun." Can't argue with the dictionary.
