We went up to the Gunpowder Falls trailhead off Belair Road and had a nice fall hike this afternoon with Peter. The temperature was fantastic and we had a great time, except for the few minutes after Suz fell on her ankle about a quarter of a mile from the road on the Sweathouse Branch Trail.

I'm sitting here at my desk right now drinking from my new "I saved Public Radio" mug from Eliz Meister of This American Life. She's cool, and tries to hook me up with cool little trinkets when she can for keeping her mailing lists running clean and smooth.

Wired News has an article today about Doug Humphrey's boat using only Macs. It's cool to realize that I was on this boat for a DCCP party on August 25, 2000 when it was docked at the Baltimore Inner Harbor off Key Highway. This was before I owned my Nikon CoolPix 990, so I took some really lousy pictures with my Vivicam 2700. This city is much too small.

Meanwhile, in Racine, WI, police wrote 441 citations which could mean $968 for each attendee at a fundraiser at the Tradewinds Bar. Racine defense attorney Mark Richards says the municipal tickets are outrageous, and that a mass of people did not break a law simply by attending a party.
