weapons inspectors

The Fairness and Accuracy In Reporting organization reports on September 25, 2002 that back "in 1999, major papers ran front-page investigative stories revealing that the CIA had covertly used U.N. weapons inspectors to spy on Iraq for the U.S.'s own intelligence purposes."

Three years ago these articles were presented as confirmed facts, now they are being denied by the Bush Administration as baseless allegations from the Hussein regime? Why should we believe this story that's now pushing our entire country towards military action against Iraq?
