September 18, 2002 We had a department meeting at work today and found that everything is really cool. I'm happy.
I think I have the most boring snake in the world. I really don't know how to do a good job not stressing it out, so I'm just watching it for a chance to play with it when it comes out of it's box. This is my first time raising a snake, so I'm second guessing myself on everything and probably scaring it half to death every time I reach in the tank.
On the other hand, Alex is fed, bathed, asleep and all her homework is done. I may the meanest person to ever walk this planet for making her finish all her penmanship practice and figure out how to spell "down" by herself before she could go out and play, but I do feel like I'm doing a decent job raising something tonight.
Now on to my own homework.
