September 13, 2002 Not having a serial blog means I can write my Friday Five post whenever the hell I feel like it. Thanks to Dean McKenzie for calling it to my attention today.
1. What was/is your favorite subject in school? Why?
Chorus, since it was the one class that almost every single one of my good friends was in, and a great retreat from the stuff that wasn't so great about school.
2. Who was your favorite teacher? Why?
Tracy Murray for reinforcing my love for music and giving me the chance to shine, and Bob Goode following a close second for being the coolest physics teacher ever. Honorary mention goes to Patricia Massey, the school librarian.
3. What is your favorite memory of school?
It's a tie between The Jades and The 4:30 Club.
4. What was your favorite recess game?
I have this crazy memory of an elementary school game called "Koala Hunter". Seriously. I remember it involved a hunter, Adam LaSpata, a three ring binder and a big tree in the rear lot of the school.
5. What did you hate most about school?
Being a geek. But it was good for me.
