August 31, 2002 Journal:
Since UHaul has not yet mastered the arts of inventory management or customer service, I find myself sitting in South Plainfield mildly entertaining myself with web articles and wishful dreaming about my new house.
Some things that have amused me today are Leon's review of Teledyne Water Pik Family Oral Irrigator WP-30, annoying redneck neighbor, mirror of the hacked RIAA site, and a dirtbike embedded on the windshield of a car.
Justin crushed a house with his giant robot on his way to Reno and now the girl wants to get to know him better. A 28-Toed cat is candidate for the record books.
Later update with the pictures from the First-ever BM-NYC Parallel Burn Party held tonight.

More waiting.
I'm unloading two trucks worth of my life, one arriving from New Jersey in the wee hours of the morning of August 31 to 2636 Wentworth Road in Parkville with furniture and then loading from the bowels of Charles Village Baltimore back to Parkville in the afternoon with my boxes. I'll provide pizza and beer, but need a few loaned backs and muscles.
If you can help, meet me in front of 2636 Wentworth Road before noon or at 2600 North Calvert Street after noon to pack and unpack the truck. I know everyone is probably busy over the Labor Day weekend, but any help you can give would be appreciated.
It's actually going to be a pretty light load of stuff so don't go out of your way to join us thinking I'm desperate for bodies. There's no Internet at the house (gasp!) so if you want to reach me over the weekend, please use page-rob@vees.net to go to my e-mail pager instead or just call me at 443-540-1957.
If you miss this, you'll have another great chance on September 21, 2002 when Suz's truck of stuff arrives from Wisconsin. Stay tuned!
