September 6, 2002 Events:
Ravers Organized Against the Rave Act protest and rave on the West Lawn the U.S. Capitol today from 15:00 to 20:00.
Random events:
- Jamie Paschke came by again today and dropped a note in my mailbox to ask me for all their kid's barbie stuff that they left behind in the basement. I don't have to give it to her since I'm entitled to everything in the contract and everything left in the house at closing, but I'm going to do it to be nice.
- She spent 5 minutes on the phone telling me how stressful her house selling experience was. I was ten seconds from going completely berzerk, but finally got her off the phone in time with a promise to leave the kids toys on the side of the house before I went out for the evening.
- I'm a little annoyed that they left things behind in the house and have needed to ask me twice to come back and get them, but I told her that I'd leave it out on the side of the house tonight.
- Sometimes I think I bought a house and it's former occupants. I understand how stressful it can be to move, but I'm going to draw the line here with these toys. Its time they found a new life that didn't involve constant visits to this house, although I'm sure I'll see them around the neighborhood. As long as they respect my property rights, we're golden.
- Went to Dale and Sara's place tonight, what a strange feeling to visit the place I used to live.
- Came back around 23:00 and all the kids toys were not on the side of the house. Goes towards the long list of things I don't have time to care about.
- Suz, Alex and Donna show up tomorrow evening. I have a full day of bed assembly and cleaning ahead of me tomorrow.
- It is very cool to turn down the volume on your living room stereo from the upstairs office using a browser the stereo's web server.
- It's not fair that Moxy Fruvous and Dave Corun can bring back such fond memories of UMBC.
- Jean Farmer is by far the world's coolest co-worker. She rocks.
