I won't be going to the gun range to celebrate my liberties today because I forgot my range membership ID and I can't afford the range time if it isn't free. Check in with me tomorrow about a raincheck event.

News from today:

According to preliminary CBS News report this morning, a possible terrorist cell was discovered at 325 North Charles Street in Baltimore City. Arrests and immigration charges against a diverse group of middle-eastern men living together in a small apartment. Out of the eight men, five were without id and were sent to INS for processing. Pictures of Times Square and Washington Penn Station were found in addition to links to beapilot.com on their computers and fake identification and passports. All the men were cleared of all charges except minor immigration violations.

The Numbers game in the New York State Lottery came up 9,1,1 this evening. An official said it was picked in the standard random fashion using all the same protocols.

This isn't really surprising. Buddy Kilpatrick says, "The odds that something would happen, out of Avogadro's number plus a lot of zeros of "happenings" that occur on a particular day, that would have someone saying, "what are the odds of this happening?" are probably close to 100%."

"Now, the odds of you predicting which thing would happen that would make you say, "what are the odds of this happening?" before it actually occurred are probably close to 1 in Avogadro's number."

Updates:

16:41: International Square: all staff should evacuate immediately. No details available.
