capitalism There are quite a few Chief Executive Officers who are quite
persuasive/charismatic/stubborn, and world leaders who are not.
Makes me think of the scene in Neil Stephenson's Snow Crashtowards the
end where the President of the United States makes great pains to
introduce himself to the major mafia bosses on the plane with him, and
they don't even recognize who he is right away...
Here's a bell-curve transposition analysis of capitalism as a concept.
